It's Time

After a long break of "not-doing", I feel it's time to slowly turn and be a little active again.

A blog post about TIME.

You see, time is one of the concepts that really makes me thinking.

Let me start from the beginning:

My main issue is - why do we experience time only in one dimension?

Meaning, why is the start always at the beginning?...

Let me explain my question.

If we look at TIME as the fourth dimension of SPACETIME (the three other dimensions are those of SPACE), and compare TIME with the other dimensions, we can observe that the three dimensions of space can be experienced in both directions: UP and DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT, FORWARDS and BACKWARDS. However TIME can only be experienced by us human beings in ONE direction - we can only go from the PAST to the FUTURE and we cannot go from the FUTURE to the PAST.

I've read many different theories about time - it's been a phylosophical/scientifical/metaphysical/spiritual debate for as long as... Well for a very long TIME!!! And though some of the theories are very interesting and even convincing to some extent, I never seem to be satisfied with an answer. The theories usually try to find some objective way of describing TIME, however from what I observed and understood so far, it seems to me that TIME is a subjective concept in our mind, a way for us to explain changes in the perceived reality and allocate them a cause. So finding an objective explanation is probably futile.

So now that my conclusion is that there's no way to understand the concept LOGICALLY, I'm still interested in learning more and thus I'm asking for your thoughts about the subject.

In the meanTIME I'm just content that now is my time to gradually come back to action, with my upcoming workshop at ALFALFA HOUSE on Wednesday 6 July 2011, 7-8PM. Entry is by donation - and we'll be to learning the basic of raw "cheese" cake creation, tasting the famous orange "cheese" cake, and socializing with the ALFALFA HOUSE crowd... Now that's a great way of experiencing how time can FLY ;)

thank you for sharing dear sister. yes time is always running out it feels. i must tell you though that i sometimes feel that i can go back in my own time at least simply by feeling what a past event felt like. i feel that i am there in my whole being. i can also feel the future by first imagininig it as i desire it to be and then feeling the potential of that projection.

more importantly what if we stopped againg and started living indefinitely, what if we could become immortal? wouldn't it feel like time is irrelevant? this is what i aspire to experience, timelessness in the physical body. after all we are designed to regenerate and renew completely and continuously.

so it is the belief in our own shortcomings that makes time relevant to us. it is what we have been taught throughout generations and our emotional convictions are the hardest to overcome unless we decide to grieve the pain they cause us.

for me it is the development of my connection to and relationship with God who is timelss has no begining and no end, that makes this a reality. the only thing that is stopping me from experiencing this truth right now is my unwillingness to feel all of my emotions. i am an infant learning from my Heavenly Parent and i am starting to feel time as an infant does, i slowly become unconscious of time as i learn to live in all of my passions and desires and feeling everything that is within me at all time.

i feel that unconditional love is the only timeless emotion so i guess i yearn to grow in that love and thereby become timeless :)
