Life is Magic

Yesterday I was going for a walk around the block and stumbled upon a garage sale. Obviously I had to stop and look around to see if there’s anything I want… And guess what I found? The Magic Bullet. Brand new in a box, never been used, for only $10 (which is about 10% of its price!) – a bargain indeed! It had to go back home with me, right?

So what is the Magic Bullet? Basically it’s a personal powerful blender that is supposed to also grind/chop/do magic tricks…

My half-commercial blender is being used at home all the time; however I thought it will be nice to try a smaller blender and see how it works.

I’m planning to use the Magic Bullet for grinding spices and flaxseeds and do “small jobs” that my big blender is… well… too big for ;)

I watched a few youtube videos with demos and reviews, I read the recipe book that comes with the Magic Bullet, and this morning I finally gave it a try for the first time.

To celebrate the occasion I treated myself with a special morning smoothie: 2 bananas, a handful of goji berries and cacao nibs, a tablespoon of lucuma powder, about a teaspoon of cinnamon powder and ICE.

For my first attempt, I did not add any water. I was hoping the ice will melt quickly enough to provide the liquid for ease of blending. Eventually I realised I do need to add a bit of water – and once I have, the smoothie was done in a few quick seconds. YUM!!!

I can’t wait to try and grind some spices in it later on today ;)

I wonder if my Blendtec blender is about to be made redundant…

Now I’m sitting here sipping my tea, reflecting on what MAGIC is.

Magic is when something unexpected, unexplained by logic, supposedly impossible, happens.

When I’m in a grateful appreciative state of mind, everything seems to be magic… Like the ability to share my thoughts and ideas with people all around the world in just a matter of seconds. Like the fact that I’m sitting in my beautiful house, looking outside the window to watch the rain falling on the green trees and listening to the Kookaburras laugh. Like the fact that I can step outside, take my car, and drive all the way to the Frenchs Forest markets to buy some fresh organic produce and meet Tam for lunch. Like the synchronicities of chance meetings with people I thought I’ll never meet again. Like finding joy and happiness and love in the midst of a difficult situation. Like being able to move my body, walk, dance, smile, eat…

Now it’s time to use the magic vacuum cleaner and make all the dust from the office disappear…

I love the magic bullet! I've had one for about 5 years now and I use it at least once a day! Every morning for my shake and often for various other things throughout the day!
Enjoy it!
Great find at $10 too!
